A big update just landed. Here's everything that's new — and how to get the most out of it.
Paper money — practice your edge with a virtual bankroll
Every account now has a virtual bankroll (no real money — pure practice). Turn it on from the Predict board: open the Paper bankroll panel in the sidebar and tap the gear to choose how you bet. Three sizing modes:
- Flat — stake the same number of credits on every scored live-market prediction.
- % of bankroll — your stake scales as your bankroll grows or shrinks.
- Confidence-weighted (capped) — set a maximum, and your stake scales with how confident you were. Example: a 100-credit cap at 80% confidence stakes 80.
Your bet automatically rides on the side your reading points to, and it settles at the real market odds when the event resolves. That means a confident, correct call on an underdog pays out more than the same call on a heavy favorite — so your bankroll rewards genuine edge, not just picking favorites. You'll see your bankroll and your recent bets right there in the sidebar.
Share a prediction with your group
On the Predict board you can now pick a sport and a Space to share a blind market with. Everyone in the Space gets their own blind reading of the same market — each with independent, randomly-assigned targets, so no one's reveal can ever hint at another's. The matchup stays hidden until it resolves, then settles for everyone automatically.
Space owners stay in control via the "who can host" setting (owner / moderators / members): a structured Space can keep things curated, while an open one can let any member share a market for the group to work.
Choose your target pool
When you task a live market, you now pick which pool the two blind images are drawn from — it defaults to the curated Level 1 pool. (Previously it quietly used whatever pool happened to be first, which wasn't always what you wanted.)
Clearer judging
The two images in the judging step now scale to fit — no more cropping — and you can tap either image to enlarge it full-screen for a closer look before you commit your call.
We'll tell you when your reveal is ready
Lock a reading today, and when the event resolves (often a day or more later) you'll get a notification that your reveal is ready. No more forgetting an open prediction — come back, see the result, and learn from it.
A calmer session screen
Once you've locked and judged a reading, the page now clearly tells you you're done and gives you a clean Exit — there's nothing left to do until the event resolves. We also moved the autosave status into the bottom bar and removed some repeated labels, so the workspace is less cluttered while you work.
As always: read it blind, score it honestly, and have fun with it. Questions, ideas, or something not working right? Reply here — we're listening.
