Create a private, non-visual target pool
Joe McMoneagle spoke about having 4x6 cards with various tasking targets written down and placed in envelopes. By having a number of unmarked envelopes available to choose from, drawing from the pool made it a fairly blind target.
He would then compare his notes to the tasking once the session was complete, and if it matched, it would close out that task. If it didn't match, or there was still more to do on it, he would put it back in the envelop and add it back to the pool for a future pull.
We could organize a similar concept here, except with digital envelopes. Create a minimum set of tasking targets, and even offer the possibility to supplement with generated tasking targets to reach a threshold (not ideal, as you might not get an answer to anything you care about, but would ensure randomness/blindness).
